FLAGSTAFF KLEZMER ORKESTRA

The Flagstaff Klezman Orkestra was founded in late 2021 after music students wanted to bring the sound of klezmer to Flagstaff. The Flagstaff Klezmer Orkestra is a group of klezmers by affinity that aims to learn, perform, and revitalize the Ashkenazi Jewish folk music of klezmer as a living form of music worthy of updating and experimentation with the broad appeal to fit into the many programs of music. We perform a diverse range of musical genres including but not limited to, Klezmer, Balkan, Romani, Polka, Punk, Reggae, and New Orleans music
